As a general guideline, we typically recommend:
1–2 people: 1-Stage
3–4 people: 2-Stage
5+ people: 4-Stage
This gives us a strong starting point, which we can then tailor based on your home and usage patterns.
We will notify you when it is time to replace them. Your replacement cadence is tailored based on your home size, the number of people in the home, and your overall water usage habits, so the timing is aligned with your household’s actual needs.
By using an industry standard formula of 250L per day, per person, multiplied by the number of people in the home. From there, we compare that estimated household usage to the capacity of the system and recommend a system designed to fall within an approximate two-year replacement cadence. If your home or water usage calls for a different timeline, we tailor the recommendation accordingly.
