Why is my replacement cartridge missing?
Your S1 filter cartridge comes pre-installed inside the handle.
Because the cartridge is already seated in the shower handle (and not packaged separately), the box may look like it only includes the shower handle. Once installed, you’re ready to use it right away.
How do I install the S1 Shower Handle?
Unscrew your current shower handle from your shower hose, then screw the S1 onto the same hose.

Will my water pressure be affected?
In most homes, you’ll notice little to no change in pressure due to Fiber Technology’s high-flow engineering. In some cases, flow can even feel stronger if your previous shower head had a more restrictive spray face than the S1.
What should I do if I experience reduced water pressure
Your cartridge may be due for replacement. Flow can gradually decrease when it’s time to refresh. Reduced water pressure usually comes down to one of two things:
1) Your cartridge may be due for replacement. Flow can gradually decrease when it’s time to refresh.
2) The cartridge may not be seated correctly (especially after a recent replacement). Reinstall it so it sits flush, and make sure the open inlet (the hole) is facing down toward the hose, while the capped side is facing up toward the shower head.
How often do I need to change the cartridge?
Cartridge life depends on usage. As a general guideline:
~12 months for 1–2 users/shower
~8 months for 3–4 users/shower
~6 months for high-use homes (e.g. 5+ users/shower)
Is the S1 Shower Handle compatible with all showers?
If your current shower head is connected by a hose (handheld-style setups), the S1 is compatible. In that case, you simply swap your existing handle for the S1.
If your shower is a rainfall/waterfall style or the plumbing connects directly from the wall into the shower head (no hose), you’ll want our S2 Shower Adapter instead.
What is the difference between the S1 Shower Handle and the S2 Shower Filter?
The S1 Shower Handle is a complete filtered handheld shower handle. It’s made for showers where the shower head connects to a hose.
The S2 Shower Filter (Adapter) is designed for fixed shower heads—like rainfall/waterfall or wall-mounted setups—where the plumbing connects directly from the wall into the shower head (no hose). The S2 installs inline so you can keep your existing shower head.
