Part A — Your Plan
1. The Plan
The Purely Protection Plan is paid in monthly installments. The 1-Stage and 2-Stage Plans run on a 12-month annual term; the 4-Stage Plan runs on an 18-month term. The Plan bundles ongoing coverage, automated cartridge replenishment, and preferred plan pricing for the duration of your active term. Each Plan tier corresponds to a Purely system: the 1-Stage, 2-Stage, or 4-Stage configuration.
- 1-Stage: $18 / month — 12-month term.
- 2-Stage: $28 / month — 12-month term.
- 4-Stage: $32 / month — 18-month term.
2. Annual Service Fee
Each Plan is subject to a $49 annual service fee that covers your scheduled replacement cartridges. The annual service fee is the same across all Plan tiers. Even with the annual service fee included, the Plan remains significantly more cost-effective than purchasing the system and cartridges upfront at regular retail pricing.
Optimal Replacement Cadence
Your optimal replacement schedule is designed to ship your replacement filters ahead of schedule, so you’re always using the best.
- 1-Stage — every 12 months.
- 2-Stage — every 12 months.
- 4-Stage — every 18 months.
Part B — Cancellation & Payment
3. If You Cancel
The Purely Protection Plan is paid monthly over your Plan term (12 months for 1-Stage and 2-Stage; 18 months for 4-Stage). If you cancel before the end of your current term, the remaining monthly payments for that term become due. All amounts paid and/or owed toward the remaining term may be issued as Purely store credit, valid toward future Purely products or cartridge purchases at regular retail price.
Cartridge Shipment Protection Window
If you cancel within 90 days after a replacement cartridge shipment has been delivered, Purely may charge a cartridge recovery fee equal to the retail value of the shipped cartridge(s). This recovery fee is not eligible for store credit. Any remaining eligible balance from your term buyout may still be issued as store credit.
After Cancellation
Your system remains yours to keep. All Plan benefits — warranty extensions, automated cartridge shipments, and preferred plan pricing — end on the cancellation date. Store credits are non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, and valid for 24 months from the cancellation date.
4. Payment Terms
Monthly payments are processed automatically on the same date each month from the payment method on file.
- If a payment fails, Purely will attempt to reprocess the payment 7 days after the initial failure.
- If the second attempt fails, Purely will make a third and final attempt 7 days later.
- If payment is not resolved within 30 days of the original failure date, Plan benefits are suspended and the Plan is considered cancelled.
- Upon cancellation due to non-payment, the full remaining term balance becomes due.
Part C — Choosing the Right System
5. Choosing the Right System
We want this to be simple and honest, because the right system isn’t always the biggest one.
Most homes can comfortably opt for a smaller, more economical system than they might assume and save money doing it. The trade-off shows up only during heavy-duty periods, when several people are drawing water at the same time. In those moments, a smaller system may not deliver water at its most optimal purity. Your drinking water is never affected, since it runs through a separate dedicated filter — but larger systems are built specifically for homes that hit heavy usage often.
For many homeowners, giving up a little performance during peak moments is well worth the savings, and that’s a perfectly good choice. We just want to be transparent: sometimes the less expensive option won’t give you everything you need. Our configurator weighs your household size and usage and points you to the system that fits — so you get the right balance of performance and value, without overpaying for capacity you’ll rarely use.
System Compatibility by Household
- 1-Stage — 1–2 people (Optimal): handles demand comfortably.
- 1-Stage — 3 people (Functional): heavy simultaneous use may briefly lower whole-home purity. Drinking water unaffected.
- 2-Stage — 2–3 people (Optimal): handles demand comfortably.
- 2-Stage — 4 people (Functional): heavy simultaneous use may briefly lower whole-home purity. Drinking water unaffected.
- 4-Stage — 3+ people (Maximum): maintains optimal purity even when multiple taps run at once.
Optimal — full performance at this size. Functional — economical, slight trade-off at peak. Maximum — optimal at any demand.
Rated capacity per barrel: municipal water up to 350,000 litres; challenged water rated at 60,000 litres. Challenged water refers to supplies with a higher contaminant or sediment load.
